Liz Solomon, Imaginary Girl Lyrics
I wrote this song at work one day – Don’t tell my boss… I was exhausted, and had begun to question everything about the direction my life was taking, I felt so lost and confused…

Running on empty, larger than life, why can’t I
remember this part of my life, my reality
twisted with fate, that seem to cross with
memories of his face, my heart beats wildly
with memories from my past why can’t I see
his face, why can’t I make it last?

This reality I’ve found seems to never end,
visions of my former self in a world that’s
never been, my eyes they come alive with
visions from my past, consumed with energy
that seems to last and last, I don’t know how
or why this vision came to be, I only know if I
surrender I’ll be free. Running on empty larger
than life, why can’t I remember this part of my
life?
